~ is a self-portrait created in response to themes of body dysmorphia and general insecurities related to body image. I painted this after an internal battle with myself, where I concluded that a bandaid solution would be to document how I looked for the elderly/future version of myself. I imagine her saying something like - "girl, enjoy ya titties while they're still perky, say 'f*ck you' to that voice in your head that skews your image and while you're at it 'f*ck you!' to anyone that sexualises you when you're minding your own business".
