ALICE EXHIBITION, 2025 - House Conspiracy
Some featured photos of the outcome of my first official Co-Curating project. The idea of Alice was to speak to curiousity, transformation and the courage to be vulnerable in stepping into the unknown.
As well as co-curating and acting as Install Manager for the exhibition, I was also a featured artist. With my projected work 'Σειρῆνες ἐν ἀπορίᾳ (Seirênes en aporíāi), 2025'

Sirens are ancient guides on the journey to the underworld - mystical beings fated to die if any man hears their song and survives. In true patriarchal fashion, their mythology has been distorted: once wise and persuasive, they were recast as lustful, seductive, and ruinous. Though their stories have long been told and reshaped by men, this work reclaims the Sirens as symbols of resistance against the patriarchy: voices trapped in a Catch-22, yet still singing.
OPEN HOME EXHIBITION, 2025 - Scrap Hauss

This projection was a visual experiment and 'play' with videos sent to me by friends in my coommunity and edited to create exciting colours that changed with movement. In response to the theme, my meaning of home has almost had to go through a form of dissolution. From a place of hostility and fear to the very opposite - a place of safety and comfort. The focus of the video was on the wholesome and comfort that home can provide and, rather than a stand alone piece to be appreciated, add to the overall atmosphere the exhibition was looking to curate.
ART RESIDENCY , 2024 - Buinho Creative Hub Portugal
In November 2024, I took part in my first Artist in Residence with Buinho Creative Hub in Messejana, Portugal. Here, I explored and played with new approaches to my work, being inspired by the local architecture and tiles. I created works that were out of my creative comfort zone, but still stayed true to my creative style and approach.
As well as my own works, I had the incredible opportunity to meet Artists from all over the world, at different stages of their career and with vastly different mediums to mine. This was extremely inspiring and motivating to me. Being able to connect with others over art, accessibility and creativity was a chance to really see where art can take you and others. It has fueled me to continue my Artistic journey and aim to inspire and provide opportunities to others in the future.
Casa Da Avo, 2025

An artwork that re-creates the tiles out the front of the accomodation and studio that I resided in whilst in Portugal. Casa da Avo means 'Grandmother's House' in Portuguese. This piece was a welcome addition to the works I completed at Buinho. I was captivated by the beauty of the tiles all around Portugal, more specifically the ones that lined the entry of our residence. This style is very different for me, but it was a welcome change and challenge. The piece itself was therapeutic and more thoughtful. I stepped out of my artistic comfort zone, whilst in the comfort of my studio outlooking the passers-by in the sleepy town of Messejana. There was intention with every step in the process.
Make My Day, 2024

This piece was inspired by the 50 year love story of my fellow Artists in Residence, Lisa and Loren Skyhorse - two saddlemakers from Colorado. Our lives couldn't have been more different in age and location and yet something had brought us together to this residency... where we found we were not so disalike at all.
Lisa and Loren had been good friends, then lovers. After one perfectly fine night together, Lisa told Loren the next morning "I need space. Don't write, don't call." Loren didn't argue, he said to Lisa with his hand outstretched, "my love for you is like a butterfly in my hand... if I close it, I will crush it... so I give you what you want with my hand open!". With tears in his eyes he left.
They didn't see eachother again for another year and a half. When they did, they ended up reigniting their love, living in a tipi together and having their first child.
Messejana, a short film, 2024
At the start of November 2024, 7 strangers met at Buinho’s AiR in Messejana. Almost immediately we started to care for each other. We were all vocal about global and personal events happening in and around us and we connected over being here not only to make work. It was something different for all of us.
We (Bronte and Kt) asked everyone to respond to the following question: What are you processing/finding out about yourself right now? The responses reminded us that vulnerability—sharing our genuine reflections despite our differences in experiences or beliefs—can create a powerful closeness and openness for understanding.
